This is a smaller Brazilian Red Cloak in the front yard which has started to bloom. Photo taken April 21, 2011.

Thanks! The bract should be a lot larger, though. Usually, they're around 20in/51cm long and 12in/31cm wide.

Looking very nice. I've always admired these in your yard. The starts you gave me last December are now putting out new leaves. Not sure how long it will take them to reach blooming size.
