My Spathiphyllum 'Sensation" is not putting out any large flowers yet. Hopefully, in the next month or so it'll be producing its very large white bracted flowers. Photo taken April 21, 2011.

Spathophyllum species and varieties do very well outdoors here...with one huge problem, SNAILS!!! LOL!
I just pulled this plant out of the ground a month ago. It was suffering so badly from snails damage, I couldn't bare to looks at it.

I've never seen the cultivar 'Mauna Loa' with huge leaves used outdoors. Have you? I have had the plain jane one do well on my porch- and bloom at times,all year. The Mauna Loa was common for sale years ago. I haven't seen one in a while.
