butterfly orchid

these i got last year 1 died, but the other 2 flowered lovely with a light honey scent, these are just starting now, so i hope they will flower this year as well, they are only a miniature but worth the effort.

I never noticed the scent, I was so chuffed to get them to bloom!

yes thanks sixpence as soon as it flowers again i'll post it, yes meanie it's very subtle it's a honey smell and your right they are very addictive got 3 more coming and i've got 3 habenaria radiata starting to sprout :-))

your welcome, your right, these are a new hardy orchid this year for me, they have just started to break the surface... so fingers crossed

I'm still waiting for these to poke through (although the tubers looked good), but my H.radiatta are back! They were the highlight of last summer for me.

i bet they were you must have been really pleased, i've wanted some for a while..then last autumn i got some so fingers crossed they flower this year..i've got a bletilla poking through as well..
