Another pretty Centaurea. So easy to grow on clay.

Is it as invasive as the common blue?

Definitely not, Meanie.

Vincent is so right, these go mad in clay. They actually get too big for my garden, which is a shame as I love them!

Ah. I was going to offer you one of the 'Amethyst in Snow' - but you wouldn't want it. Shame. :-(

I don't think it would really work in my scheme B, but thank you very much indeed for the offer. I have learned over the years that it is not worth trying to grow too many herb.perenns. as I need a lot of evergreen in my garden to get all year round interest, and of course, it's not very big.

I said on the other picture - I don't think they're for you, really. I understand why.

Pity about the Daphne, though. I'm pleased you've seen it for real. :-)))

Lovely photo, wish I could shoehorn one of those in the border

You're like me, then - getting any more plants in would be difficult. ;-) Thanks for the compliment.
