Randy:

Thanks my friend! :>)

Have you not seen all these trees in the overflow parking lot in back of the Sport Museum in Balboa Park? It's right off President's Drive, east of Park Blvd.

I used to have a large tree, which I purchased many years ago from the Los Angeles Arboretum for only $15.00. I gave it to my mother 12 years ago.

I need to get some cuttings...from what I understand it grows very easily from hardwood cuttings.

Randy:

Check out the very large tree at Morley Field/Balboa Park near the entrance (the drive going to the swimming pool area).

The trees in the parking lot which I posted, bloom very early...sometimes as early as January (which is non-typical, since it's suppose to be a summer blooming tree).
