Well! I have never seen dahlias from seed before! Those look so healthy. I have never thought of that!
I am always growing stuff from pips, seeds whatever & sometimes get success! I have a good apple tree growing from a Bramley apple pip that I started several years ago - forget how many now, but there are a lot of fruit on this year.
Also have a lovely pear grown from a Comice pip. We had loads of scrumptious pears from it a couple of years ago, but nothing much since! I think the blossom comes at the wrong time when the frosts knock it back!! Another thing I had success with was some gladioli I grew from seed. Tooks years but I did have some lovely coral colour flowers grow from the bulbs in the end. Sadly they have gone now, I didn't keep them very well I'm afraid!! I did get a couple of nice pics of them though - I must try & find them!
You must work so hard in your garden, it is lovely & all on a slope you say!! Even harder!!
