Meanie:
If it's growing in a greenhouse it should bloom all year like the ones here in San Diego.

It'll be tomorrow that I go now as I had a bit of a hangover!
It had a bit of a drastic "haircut" last year Delonix - there was no sign of a flower last time I was there.

Meanie:
That's funny! I always laugh at people who have hangovers...I guess it's because I don't drink! LOL!!! :>)
Feel better soon!
Usually, giving them a haircut doesn't preclude flowering...not unless they're cutting the trunks completely down to the ground.

I rarely drink either, hence the hangover!
It was more of a crewcut than a haircut!!

Meanie:
So, that means they cut the trunks to the ground?

A lot of the older, and very tall, growth was taken out. There is an incredible amount of new growth that has happened since though.

Meanie:
This could be the reason why there's no blooms. The trunks have to mature before they bloom. If the workers at Oxford are cutting the older, mature trunks...then the newer, young plants will never bloom.

It looked rather unsafe before to be honest. It was the leaves that were removed, not the trunk though.

Well, if the trunks are mature enough, they should bloom soon. :>)
