John, we have managed to grow from seeds this year, tomatoes, leeks, sprouts, radish,parsley, then we also have plenty of peas and runner beans and cabbages too,

Very good Yorkshire ,I am also growing from seed Cherry Tomato (Sun Baby) (Money Maker) (Marmande) which I will have to give away as I no room, also have (Red Bell Peppers )(Orange) &(Green Peppers)(Capsicum sweet Pepper) again I will have room for about 6 the rest I will give away.Not forgetting the Spring Unions, Time,some Garalc, African, & French, Marigolds which I love. + more most are little baby plants,fingers crossed i will have them flowering in the next few weeks.

thanks John, going down south to Littlehampton to one of the daughters Friday till Monday, she lives close to the beach, then Monday morning we are going to Bognor Regis to meet Hollyeves from GOY, going for lunch, she is just 2 minutes walk from the beach, then on to Eastbourne to a hotel until the friday, booked a room with Balcony and sea view, hope the weather is nice, Hotel all inclusive, Balcony and sea view, £160 each, not bad aye, will be able to get as much whisky as I want, Lol

Love a Guinness Johnjoe...Good luck with your seedslings; We've grown a lot from seed ourselves...You can keep on spending on plants can't you...mind you we've still spent on other garden accessories that were required, so you can't win... lol

Tanks Crissue i would love a Guinness too..lol Seedlings have turned into nice little plants,filling up containers and baskets today between showers .Children and others arriving with there containers.You are right you cannot win,but I don't mind. Spent a lot on compost very little on plants if only I knew how to recycle the compost would be great.

You mentioning Compost reminded me of a bag I bought this Spring from a reputable G/C and it looked just like chipped up fine old wood cuttings...I just dug it into the garden...
