So do I have some more but I think they will have to be moved as they are in dapple shade and Monty Dom said on gardeners world they like to bake in the sun on the ryzomes above ground, but I also think I have the dreaded iris worm on one which is treated by cutting all the leaves off in autum/winter removing it and cutting out the worm if its in the root, and 1 part bleach to 2 parts water cleaning it, you ll know if you ve got it the leaves start to go brown its moth s that cause it by laying their eggs so I ve read.

Sorry to hear they may have Iris worm, but thank you for that information, very useful! Yes I watched Monty Don, the Iris in my picture is only in sun in the morning as it comes around behind it, so not much baking on it, but the rest of my Iris's have full sun most of the day, infact that may be the answer why my blue bearded iris multiply a lot more! I have noticed holes in some of the older ryzomes so hope its nothing to worry about.
