Ceropegia "Rosary Vine"

I've been after a Ceropegia woodii for a while now, so I was delighted to find this one when we stopped off at a garden centre on the way back from the botanic gardens today.
It has small leaves of 12/15mm, with flowers of about 20mm. The stems hang down in this plant and are a metre in length!

6d - to be honest, we only called in to get some slug pellets!! It was the last place that I expected to find one of these.

That one is in the cactus house at the botanic gardens - there is always something else to see!
A few more photos coming from our visit today, but next Sundays will be the ones to look for!

Love these. I had a couple about 20 years ago, they grew SO long, wonderful. Happy to see it again! :))

6 hours in scotland?? i could spend 6 years, its wild, remote, beautiful and has space! i love it!! the beaches on the west coast are to die for!! [they are good in wind, rain and definitely in sunshine]
it doesnt have your exotic plants ~ although edinburgh botanical gardens has some beautiful specimens but you should go to the west coast and those islands if you can.

Lulu - I find the Ceropegias fascinating. This one is a nice healthy looking plant with plenty of new growth too.
