I think its little feet are sticky but I'm not sure. They eat bugs.

I just love lizzards, geko's, frogs, toads etc I find them facinating! Good photo Lauram thanks for posting it!

At work the other day Mike and I went out to help catch a 6' alligator in somebody's pond - much, much bigger than this little lizard! DNR rangers were there when we got there but the gator had moved to the other side of the pond, which turned out to be 7 acres and 30' deep. They rowed around in a boat for a while but unfortunately the gator wasn't spotted again.

jeepers creepers, but is that the only one? If the pond is that big, there could be others... yikes very dangerous!

My sister moved to florida from Connecticut last year, because her in-laws have a house there that they weren't using. One of the reasons they moved is so the kids could have more freedom. Well, the neighbors told them not to let the children walk down the road by themselves because of the alligators! There is a 12' alligator who lives in the pond behind my sister's house & he is often seen crossing the road.

Cripes!!! There would be an awful big double fence going round the house if I lived there! But I suppose I feel sorry for the gaitors too, especially if they've always been there and it's the people that are the interlopers in their habitat!

This has a very prehistoric look about it ! You get some fabulous wild life over there ...but must say am glad we don't have gators here !

We have small Lizards here in France..they live in the old barn walls and even the house walls too...love to watch them...
