Seeds forming on a Clerodendrum (speciosissum I think) at Oxfords botanic gardens.
Edited now. Delonix has identified it as Ochna serrulata!

It would be a nice present if I could lay my hands on some from somewhere.

That is a different one Sticki - check it out below. It also leaves blue seeds after flowering, but is pretty damned hardy too! I'm considering this one for the shady corner.

It's growing against a NW facing wall. Said to be hardy down to minus 15c.

Hey Meanie:
This sure looks like Ochna serrulata - Mickey Mouse Plant. My neighbor has a lot of these and they pop up in my yard all the time (from the birds).

Thanks top man! I couldn't find the tag underneath all the growth, and took a punt!
Will have to edit now.....

Meanie:
You're welcome. :>)
This plant make a good potted plant because it grows slowly.

I'm much too impatient!

Meanie:
This is a very strange shrub...sometimes it grows painfully slow...and other times it grows pretty quickly. I think if it receives a lot of water and fertilizer it can grow quickly.
