Crataegus (Hawthorn)

I have a baby one of those which at the moment looks like a stick with thorns!

One day it will flower Helenium, so nice arent they. Must admit, a bit slow growing.

Dawnsaunt,there are not even any leaves on it yet! lol!

Oh I love it..........Always wanted a pink Hawthorn.....

I have a pink hawthorne, but no flowers on it yet. I remember last year it seemed to be very late, but it only had one flower on it!! This one is very pretty!

Is it a pink one or a red one Dawn? ours is Paul's Scarlet.

Mines a Paul's Scarlet Dd , we bought it when our Granddaughter was born and it always flowers just in time for her birthday ...

Lovely tree Dawn, we have a road quite near us called Hawthorn Avenue, that I walk down with Fudge everyday, and the whole street is planted on both sides of the street with these, looks wonderful at the moment.

Its taken ours a few years to flower as well as this, gets better each year.

Dotty: Its deep pink, almost red, I wonder if this is Paul Scarlet too.
