I agree, Holly what plants do you use as surface cover, I have a waterlily [mini] and some water Hyacynth but wondered if there is something tiny to float on the water?

the ones with yellow flowers are marsh marigolds.... i also have water soldiers which come up and float on the top....

Thanks HollyI may try a water soldier with my pond being small I dont want to cover it completely!
