I planted this last year to grow up the old apple tree. This was to replace the one I left behind from our last house which is my ID picture! I just love the drama of it.

Mine have finished flowering now, so you might not have much to show until next Spring Alexandra. It's a bit too hot now I would think in Corfu....make sure you keep the roots hidden.

Yes, I've read that you should place stones on the base of the plant....
How do you keep it's roots hidden?
Definitely too hot here now....

I just put a load of grass cuttings and rest stones at the base of the plant or an old roof tile. It's just a case of keeping them shaded I think Alexandramc.
