The very first time this shrub has flowered.

My yellow one has a mass of flowers, but the green one was rather mingy, have given it some drastic pruning, which has helped it to bulk up again.

Yes, it's a pity because this dark one has beautiful foliage.

My yellow one hasn't ever produced any flowers, and it's not very yellow either. It needs more light. It's staying where it is, though - no more room in the sun. :-(

Yes, a Choisya is only really a treasure in the shade isn't it! Especially the yellow one because it brightens up the gloomy spots no end! Mine has a few flowers on this year and it is in deep shade most of the time, so there's hope. It could be yellower, but like you, there's no chance of it being moved, it's doing a great job where it is!

Yes, they do. You can prune them to keep them in check of course, so it would probably be nice, but as you say, there is so much competition for the sun from all the other plants!

Aztec Pearl's leaves are not rounded like the others, which is how you can tell.
