In bloom at Oxfords botanic gardens today. Looks like the first bloom of the year on this very vigorous climber.

I love this too 6d, although I believe that in parts of the US it's considered a weed as it is so vigorous.

Lol my x boyfriend s sons mate done the Eden projects covering as some believe its all glass but its like a thick few layers of bubble wrap. Yes I can see what you mean this was nt there when I went a few years ago

I've never seen this vine naturalize here in San Diego. This vine needs a wet tropical/subtropical climate to naturalize.

Meanie:

Yes, we struggle with keeping plants wet enough through most of the year. I have to water my plants everyday, from spring through late fall...and almost everyday when we have a dry rainy season.

We've been lucky this rainy season (in all of S. CA) because we received almost twice our normal rainfall...which broke the 7 year drought.
