Beautiful close up in previous picture Alex. Nice kids you have. Notice another rare plant for you in your climate...a radiator!!!

Notice that there are plants on it which means it's doesn't get used. That was too funny. ;o)))

Glad to hear it! :>)
You would love the San Francisco Bay Area. It seems practically everyone has at least a few dozen growing on their porches. When I was there last week I still saw many flowering...they usually flower for 3 to almost 4 months. My grandmother has several growing under her lemon tree. I posted a pic...if you look very carefully you can see some of the many cymbidiums flowering under the tree.

Alex - the respond well to being outdoors in shade through the summer months.
Remember to keep them moist too.

Delonix,
One of these days you're going to find me on your doorstep. ;o)))

Meanie,
I don't have much shade around my house. I need to finish the verandas first. It's next to a window that will be open most of the summer, that will have to be enough for this year.

Alexandramou:
Yes, Cymbidium and Epidendrum hybrids are the most widely outdoor grown orchids here in San Diego and throughout most of the low-elevations of CA.
