geranium with bamboo

Thats lovely very pretty one the bamboo I love it.

It's past time I got in there and thinned it out a bit - make it a bit more 'see through'.

Are they easy to dig up as I have mine in a pot.

I've never tried to dig the whole thing up, 6d. I've dug pieces off the sides to put elsewhere. This one doesn't 'run' like some of them - this plant must be over fifteen years old. It nearly died once when it flowered but some young side growth survived and grew again.

I don't blame you I alway think they look hard to dig up glad it survived what an age lovely nice to know it does nt run thats why my black one is in a pot lol.

I bought half a phyllostachis nigra a few months ago and had to pay somebody to dig it up for me. It was still a bargain and has survived the move well. I took two little plants off that too, they're in pots.

Thats great you ve got it now though, no one does any thing for free nowadays its such a shame society has got like it, I use to help my neighbours with their gardens did ask for any money, one use to insist I took some thing, so I got out of it by saying to her, one day you might do me a favour :o)) Glad you got a couple of little ones for your pots.

It's done plenty of that out there today, Hb. lol.
