Carmel Flower Show
We had such a good time at this show! I went w one of my very best and oldest friends (NO, we're not old!!! We've just been friends for many moons ;) and her mother and my mother. It was a fabulous day...one of the best for me; in I don't know how long! My friend picked up her mother, my mother and then me :) So we were chauffeured to the beautiful Carmel, CA by the sea in this gorgeous valley for the flower show. There were so many beautiful and amazing plants, flowers and...PEOPLE!!! I think that I'm in love w garden-minded people!!! I'm speaking of the vendors mainly, but I think that it applys to all garden-minded people... they're are in general, so pleasant, so helpful... so willing to share their knowledge, they're caring people. It was great and the plants were amazing. I took a lot of photos. I bought 5 plants, I'll post them :) Abutilon (very large orange flower), Euphorbia Lactea critata'Coral Plant' , Penstemon, Geranium 'black beauty', Masdevallia orchid, Iris douglasiana Pacific Coast Hybrid, Brodiea 'queen fabiola'
