Tiny Erodium for the front of the border.

Annie, i had one in my last garden, no idea of the name, and i didnt bring it with me. I've never seen it since. It was a lovely blackcurrant coloured flower, very small and silvery-grey feathery foliage. I wish I could find it again...it was a gift from a friend who is now departed. Her husband was very keen on alpines and had a wonderful alpine garden with no lawn at all, just raised beds and rockeries..it was far too much work for his wife when he died, but he had a brilliant collection.

That looks similar to my 'Spanish eyes' in form but a slightly different colour. I wonder if Vicky sells these too

I just love these, they flower for months in my garden. And don't seem to mind any aspect.
