I took this at Petworth last Sunday, I thought it was beautiful and I would love to know the name of it please, the colours are just incredible.

I think it's an Actinidia kolomikta ... I grew one years ago at another house ... found out later from an ex neighbour that the new owners took out the whole bed I'd planted ... including this. : o ((

Ha ha ha ... have you put an order in for one yet? I recognised it straight away ... loved those leaves and was very cross to hear they'd taken it out. Grr!

Yorkshire, i've been going around all day trying to remember the name of the plant...I remembered the Kolomikta bit, but not the Actinidia bit....thank goodness Shirley named it...now i can get on with my life....:>)

just checked out on the internet about this plant, grows to about 16ft, delivered by crocus something or the other, £11.49 in a 2 litre pot, so glad you all liked it, thanks for your help girls,

Yes it is Actinidia kolomikta .. AKA ..Chinese Gooseberry Yorkshire , I put a pic. of mine on recently , it does get big I have one on my wall and another I grew from a cutting on the side of the shed .. it is a lovely thing to have the colours are so beautiful ..
