I think you already said it's not like my Purple Skyliner?
https://www.styleroses.co.uk/index.php?proId=198&PurpleSkyliner....which to me looks exactly the same in flower as Veilchenblau, but it's habit is different.
Perhaps this one is a bit too pink?

What about this one?

I will look in a little while Karen, off to watch i.player, missed Monty last Friday so going to look at that then will look at roses. Thanks for the info. It is really pretty going so well this year, training it around to the corner of the house now, hoping to get it to come into the back garden house wall. I am working hard on it.

thank you Motinot, it is pretty, it has taken ages to get it to thicken up and start to creep over the wall and hopefully around the corner next year. lol.

Karen, Purple Syliner looks to be the closest I have seen so far, it is very very similar, might be a little bluer than mine, but certainly very very similar.

Karen, When yours flowers post me a picture I will be able to compare them more closely.

very similar, mine looks to have more white at the base of the petals and some of the flowers have more petals still a little less purple I think than yours will try and get a better more close picture of it, the only trouble is these cameras don't always throw the true colours when you get close up. Off outside now, it has started to spit a little heavier with RAIN at last, hope it keeps coming all day.

Yes, that's the thing, yours looks more magenta in this photo. No rain here, just the usual cold wind. I'm taking a break from housework...:((

Yes I knew the colour had a name, magenta it is, lol. Paul and I never agree on pinks and purples, we always see them differently, strange isn't it, I see Pink he sees more like Purple. lol. Sam is the same as well, must be my eyesight, and I have been to specsavers. lol. but they never hear things like I do, tone deaf is Paul, Sam actually likes some of the singing on tese talent programmes I cringe. lol. Would not do for us all to be alike.

LOL!! It's what your ears are used to to an extent!

Certainly is, I still love to hear Choir boys singing, loved them at the Royal wedding. So clear. Love the sound. They think I am barking mad. Bless - I love the pure sounds though.

Oh now then ! That's beautiful :o)

Why would liking to hear boys singing make anyone Mad? they're the nutters if you ask me! I thought the music at the Royal WEdding was absolutely perfect in every way, even the fluffed note by one of the trumpeters!
