You'll show us a photo when it does Milky?

Thanks Meanie and Milky.
This is the usual time for it to flower because I prune it back to about six to twelve inches from main stem. (I try to keep it into a kind of round tree shape).

Oooh, you should see mine!
It's a straggly bunch of twigs which is only just getting enough light now to form decent leaves! But, at least one flower a day so far. And boy is it getting serious about budding up now! Plan is to let it grow until August and then make a decision on whether it needs shaping or not.

Ahhh. If I let mine grow it just goes wild. It loves the climate here.
I will post a picture later on when it fills out and is full of flowers.

This is gorgeous :-)
I have a large shrub of this in my front garden, it produces masses of foliage aswell as flower buds but we don't get the consistently warm and sunny weather to ripen the buds to flowering stage - they wither and die off.

Louise - I'm impressed that you can even get it through our winters! I'd be proud of that alone.
Both of Sues hardy Hibiscus are budding up nicely - looks as if they'll be early this year.

Thanks Louise1. I took a few cuttings last fall and stuck them in my new garden. I have new Hibiscus twigs growing now.

Alexandramou:
Only the first flower this year! What going on? It should have been blooming for many months, by now. lol! :>)
The big hibiscus trees/shrubs here have been in full bloom since February. :>)

Delonix, ours stop for the winter at least where I live. This one gets pruned back hard.
I stuck branches last October in the garden and I have little Hibiscus growing now. I can't remember what color is where....just have to wait for the flowers to appear.

Alexandramou:
I've heard Hibiscus grow very easily from cuttings...I've never tried myself, though.
Hibiscus trees and shrubs here rarely are without blooms...however, in winter (January) they do produce less flowers...then by early February they're in full bloom again through Dec.
