creeper in the shade

this is a chinese virg creeper I put there toward the end of last year (another £1.79 morrys job). seems to like this shady spot and i like the leaves lots

personally I like it alot more that the normal virginia creeper. The normal one (see my big trellis) gives quite big leaves and quickly but they are large n green and look at bit more interesting in autumn when they turn reddish. This one is a bit more slower though and likes the shade more (i think the advice is north facing). I have this one in my more shady small trellis and its doing well but thanks to morrys I am trying a new small one this year also on the sunny big trellis so stay posted (for at least a year or more ; )

that is unusual, very nice leaf pattern & colour. Had to look this one up 'parthenocissus' eh? Look forward to the Autumn colour shots.
