Thankyou, the Clematis took a while to get going because the palm sucks up all the moisture but its growing well now :-)

That's lovely. We grow lots of different palms in NZ gardens, & I do love clematis, so will definitely be thinking about giving this combination a try.

Thank you, i have a few palms in the garden but we had a hard winter so lost a few :( have also lost a few plants from NZ, Phormiums & leptospermum especially.
