Some of my Rose Collection

It is beautiful, I can smell it from here..:)))

Again it has a very strong perfume - it is around a little arbour at the front door, it is not a climber as such, but grows into quite a tall bush.

It's gorgeous. Could it be a David Austin one, 'The Mayflower'? Looks similar to mine and the fragrance is simply amazing.

I can't wait until some bright spark invents a 'Scratch 'n Sniff' computer screen. Until then I'll just imagine it.

think your'e correct there Karen, this one is very prickly does Gertrude have lots of thorns?

Yes, that was another reason I took it out...right next to where I walk around the borders and very sharp thorns!

Wait a minute though....does it have big sharp thorns Mum, or lots and lots of little ones like a moss rose?

I was about to suggest Gertrude...it looks like mine, the fragrance is amazing ...The thorns are painful...:>)

I agree Motti the perfume is gorgeous, the thorns are not so nice, very very prickly rose.
