thank you Motti. :o)

Karen they are supposed to be to join up canes to make a frame to put the netting on to keep off the birds etc. they have various holes in them and they supposedly link the canes together, didn't have much luck with them so used them to top off the ones supporting my plants so that I don't poke my eye out. lol.

Yes, always a good thing to NOT poke your eyes out on canes! :)

Morning Olive, just been for a wander along this path...stunning as usual...It's funny we've had the heat wave here, while the UK has had more rain than us, and looking at the garden pics, everyones garden is further along than ours...oh for some rain..and i'm saving all water for helping the Lawns, they are getting burned, even the new one...such a shame..

Evening Crissue, sorry forgot to reply, been busy out in the you know what, glad you enjoyed your walk. We have not had a lot of rain here, only about 1/2" since the end of February. Very dry ground, lots of the country has had rain, but down the eastern side of the country and south of the country are bone dry. We ran out of water in our butts, grass is still green here though, because we are clay soil and it has to be said that it does retain the little amounts of moisture well. It is hard work in other ways, but helps keep the plants going that bit longer because of its retentitive nature. I was getting fed up with watering with the hosepipe but am now down to watering just the tubs and hanging baskets, (tap water though) It isn't doing too bad YET! Hope you and yours are all well and trying to enjoy the garden, it can become very hot out there, yesterday there was no breeze today a little so it was much pleasanter.

What a lovely walkway . It just draws you in. Talking about rain, it seems there has been more rain abroad than here. The last few days of our hols in Turkey it was like monsoon weather!

yes Rose, I understand so, but we could do with some more here now. I had to get the hosepipe out again last night, it takes ages to get round the borders and I was frozen blue with cold when I had finished. It turned really cold last evening here. It looks better for me doing it though. It is surprising how long it takes dragging out and back in, could do with installing a sprinkler system. lol. don't think the water board would like that though. lol.
