Tinkerbell Mountain Laurel

Tinkerbell Mountain Laurel (Kalmia latifolia (Calico bush))

I planted this in a container to experiment with a different mix. It's planted in a mix of finely grated pine bark, peat moss and perlite. I also added a small amount of ammonium sulfate and so far it has worked great. Also a good idea to only use rain or distilled water, these things don't like lime or calcium.

Thank you, the flower buds looked like they were ready to pop open for almost a month before they finally did! It was worth the wait though :) It has been flowering for close to a week and most of the flower buds haven't even opened yet!
