not far away from where this pic was taken there is a huge patch of lily of the valley. The lilac is in bloom on the other side of the house...so the waft to the south is LOTV and to the north it's lilac!

You couldn't design an area to look so natural even if you wanted to ,it's lovely ......

It's been over a year since I posted that pic...and once again the little wildflowers are putting on their show. This year, however, with all the strange spring weather, the show was not as good. lovely..but shorter and less voluminous. This is another reason I'm so happy to have my GoY pages to look back at. To see the difference there in my pictures confirms my memories.
That is so true, Amy...I think I mentioned on another page that I have to be careful with my "improvements" as nature's plan is always better than mine...and if I jump in and dig and cultivate I probably will have changed or destroyed a lovely little piece of nature. I'm learning to respect her more everyday.

With all the beautiful wild flowers you've just inherited, you may never have to buy any nursery plants again Lori ! No one have arranged this little grove better than mother nature did, it's lovely !
