Here's a few of the many dozens of seedlings popping up around the mother plants in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA.

Most legumes need to be put into the ground to develop seeds pods.
I didn't see any seed pods on the plants but there must be many when there are...because I see this plant naturalizing all around Balboa Park.

Mine had seed pods and it was in a pot!!!

Most legumes don't set many seeds when grown in pots...however, there's exceptions. :>)
