Except that they all turned out in various shades of pink!

I thought I was hitting I Like and instead I realized too late that it said I've gone off...Please excuse my mistake...lol. I liked it so well I was telling you twice! got a question about the green glass...how do you handle it? doesn't it cut the plants?

the green glass hurts nothing, but may well help to repel slugs/snails It rolls very smoothly through palms and fingers, as it has been crushed and rolled. I re-visited the garden centre where bought to check on colours. only 5 left - all pink shades (they should flower fron white to cream, to yellow, to "salmon", to peach, to shades of pink,to red, - but the remaindes were all pink! Told them they had been "done", as was I!
But, have always loved Lewisias.

Very interesting slug repellent...have you ever seen or used diatoms?
they call the product diatomaceous earth...it's ground up fossillized sea creatures; like broken glass to slugs and snails but harmless to humans...just ringing the plant with it will stop them. don't let your dog or cat sniff it, though..don't know for a fact that they would be attracted to it...but...best to be safe.
Too bad about the Lewisias.... always next year, aye?
