Cytisus battandieri

I love this Cytisus but they always seem so sparse, I wonder is there an answer?

I prune mine back quite hard every 2 years after flowering this seems to keep it fairly bushy, gets to around 4-5m. Its fully out in flower now will take another pic and post it later in the week.

I thought this was the pineapple broom tree??

It is, thats it common name, Cytisus battandieri is its Latin name all plants have a Latin name to stop confusion with common names, hope this helps :-)

Argh righ, silly me lol... I am getting one of these soon, have wanted one for ages. They're so beautiful. :)
