Its hard to see the beautiful detail of sempervivum flowers without taking a close up photo.

Yes, I hope insects appreciate the display put on for them! These flowers are so small, humans would just miss the delicate patterns on these beautiful petals.

It's gorgeous, reminds me of saxifraga longifolia 'Sue Tubbs'. I've only seen them on line, so I could be wrong...;-).It certainly is a little gem !

I think you are spot on! :-) Saxifraga longifolia it is now I've looked it up. I had no idea they flowered this way. A real treat.
