Allamanda schottii

Taken today at the botanic gardens on Oxford.
The "Bush Allamanda" has smaller flowers than A.cathartica (the rather prolific vine Allamanda).

Grown indoors here it's eight or nine feet tall - as it's in the passageway it can't be allowed to bush out though.

Wow! 8 or 9 feet that's very tall. It probably grows that tall in Miami, Florida or in Hawai'i. I think only Allamanda neriifolia can maybe grow about that tall here.

I like this shrub! It's a little hardier than A. cathartica and blooms longer here in San Diego. It usually doesn't get much taller than 3ft/1m tall.
