It is so peaceful up here, just wish the midges did not bite me so much.

thank you Cinderella, where the chairs and table are now used to be a stunningly high pink pampas grass, but it secummed to the winter weather. I am wondering what to put in its place now.

Maybe a flowering tree perhaps ?

Not sure about a tree, there are quite a few self-set holly trees up there, and three Christmas trees, I am thinking that the leaves would drop into the pond and it gets enough of them from the wood at the back of the garden. Will have to get my thinking cap on, it needs height, oh to be rich, a little octagonal summer house would be the ideal thing. lol. oh dear me and my dreams!! lol.

What about another hardy grass...you would be able to listen to the russling of the leaves as you sit quietly....lovely...:>)

thanks Michaella - passed your good wishes on to Karen for Callum and Co. She says thank you - Callum seems to be ok, will know more later on I suppose, it depends on how much healing is done to the damaged nerves etc. I am sure he will be ok. have to think positive don't we.
