You can see in the photo, there is a bigger one to the right of it, physocarpus Diabolo. I want the two to 'mingle'. Diabolo has darker leaves and pink flowers I think, but mine has yet to flower. There are buds on it though! :))

Lovely planting there, Karen, works very well.

Thankyou. I don't know whether these yellow choisyas will ever get growing, the cold winters have cut them right back two years in a row.

Ahh a fellow Gemini! I was off with the cold on Friday so just crashed out on my sunbed, Saturday was the worst day I felt like I had been beaten up and Sunday it rained.
Hope you all had a good time :o))

Oh, and now you're back at work! Nice......:(( I think Rachel had a good time. She went out with friends Friday night and with us on Saturday. As long as BF is there, she is happy!

Hi, I'm assuming the Physocarpus Burning Embers is the purple plant. Can you tell me the name of the light green plant shown to the left of it? This has really been bugging me.

Sorry about that Bryon, that's a small Choisya. Mexican Orange Blossom. Evergreen flowering shrub, nice scent. I think that one is 'Sundance' . It gets quite large, but isn't fully hardy and can be damaged in harsh winters. :)

Thank you so much. This has been bugging me for some time, although the query could be academic, as everything here right now is under about 4 inches of snow!

Oh dear! We have a very small dusting hanging around, but nothing to cause problems, in fact I've been outside working in my garden all morning. I fear we might get some snow tomorrow though. :(
