How did this palm cope with last years hard winter?
1 Nov, 2010
Thanks for asking. This palm is fantastic!!! After our severe winter in the midlands with temperatures as low as minus 10C, we lost all the cordyllines (although one now has some shoots from the base). However the Tracycarpus Fortunei looked immaculate after the winter and continued to blossom and grow this year as if nothing unusual had happened during the last 2 winters!.......we were always impressed with this tidy plant and now we are in awe of it!

Having lived in the West Midland for many years, I know how cold the winters can be, we lost many cordylines, there were many lost here too, pleased to know the Trachycarpus made it, we have just planted another, I love them.
