Is it evergreen Annella,

I think so, I had a blue one growing here for years and that was evergreen but this is a very sheltered warm spot.

Thanks, just looked on Burncoose Nurseries site and they say they are not fully hardy. So frost could be a problem for me.

This was £1.79 from Morrisons and has put on lots of growth. So I might have to treat it as an annual then.

Well unless you can give it some protection, but it could be ok if it is in a sheltered spot as you say.

That is wonderful Annella

Reminds me of my first Cyprus holiday, these were growing in the villa garden...gorgeous. You never know, it may survive. Even if it looks dead after the winter, it might sprout again.

The old blue one used to try to come into the house. The tendrils grew about 6" a day. It was sad digging it out but it was too rampant. I replaced it with the Solanum.

I love them too, but only cerulea grows well here and even then it usually gets cut back hard by the cold winds in winter time.
