Wonderful, I can just imagine the scent. You can't beat a good honeysuckle/rose combo! Is this looking towards the garage area Annie? Your Choisya is marvellous!

Karen this is at the back of the house beside the patio, the second set of steps go down to the Ceanothus. There is a Halliana Honeysuckle to the right of the Choisya not in the pic but out now so the perfume on the patio is wonderful.
Dawn the Ceanothus is 'Yankee point', it flowers later than my others and lasts for weeks then has a few more blooms in the autumn. 'Yankee point' also has a strong scent like honey.

Yankee Point sounds wonderful Annella. The flowers look dark blue like Concha, is that right?

They start off very dark Dawn

this looks fantastic
i would watch the choisya in the winter
i had two planted close together, a greener one and the yellow and after 8 years they blended into one giant bush taller than me.
then this year it started to die and i found the temperature had not bothered it but the heavy snow had cracked a lot of the mature woody branches at the joints
now its out the garden seems twice the size.
so get out with the brush if it snows heavy.........
