Brilliant photo. I can almost touch him, and smell the scent!

Thanks ladies! There's a story to this fellow...he reminded me of my sons...whenever I would wake them in the morning, they would wave me away...not yet, Mom...I'm still tired!...when I used the macro to get this shot it took me a few seconds with the camera at pretty close proximity to get it focused correctly...and the bee lifted his furry looking leg and waved me away..."not yet, Mom...I'm still tired!" lol....

Hello Camillia...and thankyou.

I do like the story! Sometimes macro works, other times I have to use the zoom!

I'm slowly becoming accustomed to this camera, Sticki. I'm still wondering how I can improve the focus on my zoom shots...enjoying the macro now. Used to put it on auto...and just click away...now I realize I have to do more reading of the manual and do a few practice shots...so I can do adjustments and select functions on-the-run. I'm sure my results will improve with time and practice. The #^%$&*(^^%% thing still goes thro batteries like crazy.

oh i had one like that ~ it drove me mad. i gave up in the end and got a new one ~ it was the batteries i couldnt cope with. this camera has a much better system ~ you just charge the battery up ~ if i take loads of photos i would need to charge it every 2 or 3 days??
but as for the zoom ~ i cant do any focusing with that on. just got mine back from the repairers.
