This is my back garden. I created a swag type pagoda so that my montana could spread.

How many clematis plants are there?

Is there much room to sit in that pagoda, it looks filled in with flowers !!!

There is only one clematis montana which is planted behind the bench on the right. It is so at home that it has started to grow up into the silver birch behind the purple rhodedendron on the right.
I have also planted three other clematis next to the montana. One is a white flower and the other is a red petal. Both are in flower, but the red one more so.
In answer to whether there is much room to sit - the pagoda is only a single line of arches which take you to the shed off to the left and to the polytunnel where I grow my potatoes, courgettes, cucumbers etc.
Now that the montana has finished flowering the roses which are planted at the base of the 3 uprights are starting to flower.

More a pergola than a pagoda then really.
