Vegetable garden

Mmmm . . . starting to get hungry now! :-)

lol :o) since we had a few showers of rain it has started to grow really fast in there.

I wish I had the room and the energy to grow some vegetables like I used to do before

Hywel, I know what you mean about energy. As we get older we lack in energy somewhat. This was my very large delapidated greenhouse area, it was taken down and re-housed to a friends garden, it used to get so hot and I could not stand to work in it, so it had to go, I just utilised the ground it had been stood on, the soil is really good in that part, think it is because we put in lots of compost when it was a greenhouse, it gets very weedy over winter but is very easy to dig now, especially since I split it into different portions. I used to try and dig it all in one go and it jiggered me up. Now I can do as much or as little as I like. Weeding is much simpler also. I am only growing things which I like in here. I have a big triangular raised border for veggies also up in the flower garden, that is for cabbages and brussels this year oh and three courgette plants in there at moment. O H grows me some seeds for putting in the raised border at the place he works at, they have some small allotments there and a friend of his lets him plant seeds etc. in his plot. Quite useful, saves me doing it. lol.
