ah but thats the problem, I like some of the natives and its some of the cultivated plants that are the weeds in this bed. I am ruthless in pulling plants up if they are in the wrong place.

Ah I see. Yes I have learnt that the hard way. I used to let anything grow but not anymore.

It looks lovely Sbg. No such thing as a weed just missplaced flowers.

hi bamboo, the gerabium is 'johnsons blue'.

there are just a few too many plants in there at the moment. I have to look for the toadlilies and hope they havent been swamped.

Well I'm staggered - I've got Johnson's Blue, been growing it for years, but it doesn't ever look like that, far fewer flowers and a much more sprawly plant.

My 'Johnson's Blue' sprawls as well, Bamboo - what Spritz would call a good mingler.

I wonder if it isnt Johnson's blue then. It has quite broad leaf so perhaps it isnt. when I get time I will post close ups etc.

went to an open garden tonight and saw the friend who originally gave me the plant. she said 'oh no it isnt JB but dont ask which it is as I have no idea dear' Well I have the label she wrote grrrrrr
