Thank you Carole..the Achillea is yellow,and grows so big..I have three of them now..as it needed splitting..and they have to be supported too..but I do love them,when they are in flower..

Janette sent me some last year they have really spread and full of buds, can't remember what the colour will be;0))

That's a lovely full border, Sandra. I planted Achillea 'Cloth of Gold' last March and it's grown very tall this year, but I can't bear the 'aroma' of it! I've had to put 3 canes in to support it and when I brushed against it, to tie the twine, it was just such an unpleasant smell. Do you think it's just that variety?

Thanks Shirley..Mine has 'Gold' in the name..but had it so long ,I can't remember.!.They do have an'aroma' but I don't dislike it....but it isn't the best,I agree.That is the only problem,they do need support,as they get top heavy,don't they? I got some of those circular plant supports,the tallest I could find,..the ones with the meshing top,so they grow through it..but I still need a strong cane as well..or the strong Pyracantha branches ..:o)

Saturday 11am ... heavy showers again ... staked up some Nigella plants & Rose 'Rhapsody in Blue' is not liking this weather at all ... hanging it's head in disgust! : o ((
