I certainly did/will!
Can you get more than one stem per bulb? Mine has new leaves coming up to one side of the old stem, effectively redefining the centre line of the plant.....

I know this as Peruvian Lily Are they the same plant or a bit different? They can take a few years to get blooms.

It's Hymenocallis festalis ismene or peruvian daffodil, peruvian lily is alstroemeria.
