excuse the rubbish bricklaying.
i pick the biggest bricks possible and wear rubber gloves.
i always end up shoving the mortar in with my fingers and if you dont wear gloves it burns little holes in the ends of your fingers that dont appear till you wash them.and they burn like hell for days.
