All the little black beetles are attacking this one - they love yellow, must remember not to wear a yellow t.shirt in the garden for a few weeks.

Yes Muddy it is Hookeri the other one I have is Inula Helenium, it is over 5ft tall and I absolutely love it. I bought it as a Primula (oops) it had the wrong label on. It kept growing and growing and growing, bit like Jacks beanstalk, lol. I knew it was not the primula it was supposed to be but I was ages before I found out what it was (Karen named it for me) we had a good giggle about it I can tell you.It was hastily moved from the middle of the border to the peace garden where it can tower away to its hearts content.lol. I do like the plants which attract the bees and butterflies. Thank you for your lovely comment.

Inula hookeri? These are great bee plants aren't they - I love the way the scrolled buds unroll themselves.
You have many wonderful plants in your garden Oliveoil. :-))
