I have one of my own and can't wait for it to bloom at the end our spring here. It was lovely to see yours in the meantime.

I am very pleased because i have had this about 3 years and did neglect it and left it in the pot, put it in the garden last year and it put on quite a bit of growth but no flowers, then Simbad said to feed with seaweed feed and Voila!! So a little TLC and there you go :^) ps there is a picture of it in my photos as a tiny shoot early last year

Well done! I know just how Heme-mad Simbad is so any advice from her is sure to work! Luckily for me I do feed mine seaweed fertiliser so I'm on the right track.

It's lovely Daylily! I have noticed that my pale ones are growing next to Hypericum, not the best colour combo!

That flower on your avatar Daylily - is it the mock orange plant? I have one, I'm not sure whether or not to prune it?

Hi Sticki, yes it is, another member last year wrote this:-As soon as the shrub had finished flowering, cut out all of the stems which have just flowered. Prune them back to around a third of their length.

I need to this aswell :^)

Look at all those bud. Thank you and Sinbad for the tip on feeding with seaweed fertiliser. I use it on my veg. did not think of giving the lilies a dose but I will now. Do you start feeding in the spring? I love this site. I never stop learning something new.

Hi Scotsgran, yes it was Simbad who gave me the tip also, as I have only grown this one so far, I bought it whilst in flower but then left it in the pot and it didnt flower then for another 2 years, planted out into the garden last year, still no flowers, then it was this year when I gave it the seaweed feed as advised by Simbad and got some flowers, so was very pleased! I gave it a few feeds through the spring, that was only one flower scape also with all those flowers on so should get even more next year!

I'll definitely try the seaweed feed in the spring. Its a great site with very good advice and people passing that on to others. I read your note above about Sinbads advice to you. Any feed given this year would have been washed through before the poor plants would get it there has been so much rain here. Thanks again
