Couldn't resist a photograph of this lovely bloom just emerging...A David Austin Rose, planted last November, and has done really well this first season...

She's gorgeous...Only problem for me she's planted next to the white one on the fence line, so I have to go over to it to get the perfume...I have to look through DA's Roses and see if I can't find a couple of highly perfumed, that will grow happily in large planters....then I can keep them nearer to the house...

Thats a lovely shot sue. I have this one new this year, and it also seems to be doing well. It has flowered and looks quite healthy. Heavenly perfume.
